Specifically the Holy Spirit will turn us from the sin of failing to recognize Christ. The ability to proclaim the word and to receive are dependent upon the presence of God’s Spirit in us. Once the seed of the Spirit is planted it will produce change in us. We are warned not to neglect the gift we are given and not to grieve the Spirit.
