The Offering: Without Excuse or Apology

Through the Church ages there has always been controversy over two things primarily: communion and the giving of money. Tithing is a principle, not a law. If you are not giving, you're a thief and a robber and thumbing your nose at God. It is the response of the Spirit in you that makes it possible for you to give. Without the Spirit, the pocketbook, heart, and mind are closed up; those who protest loudest about the giving of money lack every other fruit of the Spirit.
